Materials
We use only solid, natural materials, with selected stone, marble and slate. Choices of marble include Italian Carrara and Sivic; creamy limestone and green Verde Dolomite. Each of our materials has that characteristic colour variation and marking inherent of a natural material, all of which adds to the individuality of the finished fireplace.


Design
Our years of experience in rescuing and renovating original fireplaces has given us invaluable insight and understanding of the design and construction of chimneypieces. Using this experience we have designed our own range of fireplaces from the classics of the Regency, Edwardian and Victorian eras to contemporary designs to suit minimalist and avant-garde settings. We have also designed several beautiful fireplaces in conjunction with a London based design company.

We select only premium materials, and so our products do not suffer from being made from glittery crystalline marble or inferior stone.


Made to Measure
Although chimneypieces are offered in standard dimensions, we also offer a made to measure service. There are many variations of hearth, chimneypieces and fireplace insets. If your design is not available on display we are happy to arrange a visit to our workshops at Ballymadun House to see it in person.


Restoration and Reproduction
Our depth of experience and skilled craftsmanship are often called on to restore a fireplace in full or in part. We can also offer a reproduction service for fireplaces that cannot be restored or for elements to complement or complete an existing chimneypiece.


Installation and Advice
From your first visit to our showrooms you will be greeted by friendly, courteous staff who will share their knowledge and enthusiasm for our craft. We can advise you on design, installation and care of your fireplace. We offer a nationwide delivery and installation service.
